A huge thank you to this gorgeous model and good friend, Kassy, for allowing me to play around with make-up, outfits, and a new light source the other day!!!  I love to practice new ways of lighting in different locations whenever I get a chance too... I bought the new RayFlash early last week and have been itching to test it out :)   I only wish Kassy and I had more time to play around, but it's hard when the sun starts going down in early February and it's only 40 degrees outside ;)

The photos above were shot using a large reflector angling towards the sun so I could fill in the shadows on the model's face and still see the background.  Below, the sun was starting to set behind the mountains so I switched to the RayFlash on my camera body and adjusted the settings so I could grab some great catch light in the model's eyes and still see the background.
